How much does it cost to live in Istanbul?

1000 euro is more than enough for nice life in İstanbul.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Istanbul? Is there any advice you can give?

There are lots of universities so you can find dormitories but if you want my advice you can rent rooms from students who is studying same university you accepted.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

You can find lots of different fods (meat vegetables or fish) and im sure you will find foods for you taste. İn my experiences foreign students reaaly love Turkish dishes.

What places would you recommend visiting in Istanbul?

İstanbul is very old city so there are so many places you can visit. therefore you should search historical places before arrive to İstanbul. Most populer places Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Taksim Square,Basilica Cistern....

What advice would you give future students heading to Istanbul?

İ dont have any advice but i can assure that you will not regret to live in İstanbul.
