Istanbul is the cultural capital of turkey. Life in istanbul is really attractive. You can find very nice places for eating or having fun for night. The beyoğlu Cihangir Beşiktaş And Kadıköy are centers of nightlife for students :)

What is the student lifestyle like in Istanbul?

Students in istanbul generally have fun in weekends in beyoğlu bdşiktaş And Kadıköy. In weekdays you can visit the architectural buildings And museums. On the other hand you can have a tea in the seaside in Ortaköy

How much does it cost to live in Istanbul?

The costs arent as high as europe, the room rents depends to which part of city you want to stay. In Beşiktaş the rent of a room is about 250-350 Euro's in kadiköy and beyoğlu the rents are a bit lower. The cost for transportation for metro And metrobus is 40€/month. Taksi costs are a bit high. The kitchen cost is about 200€/month

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Istanbul? Is there any advice you can give?

The accommodation in istanbul isnt difficult, you can rent a room or a flat easily. The cost of a room is 250-350€/month And for a flat is 400-600€ monthly.. This prices are for center of istanbul Beşiktaş beyoğlu Kadıköy Ortaköy . Also you can find rooms or flats in lower costs near your universities

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The turkish food culture is really great And delicious. Homemade meals are really delicious, dolma sarma Kebap İskender ect.

What places would you recommend visiting in Istanbul?

The Topkapı palace is the palace of ottoman empire with the Dolmabahçe palace. The Galata tower Haydarpaşa gar And bosphorus are more famous places in istanbul

Is it good to eat out in Istanbul? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Ofcorse you can find good restaurants out. The small cafeeshops in Beşiktaş taksim And Kadıköy are great And cheep for student life. Also if you are a good cook you can try to cooking turkish meals

Is the nightlife good in Istanbul? Where is good to go?

The nightlife center of istanbul is taksim And also Beşiktaş And in asia side of İstanbul Kadıköy . The nightlife in istanbul is really attractive the people dance till morning.
