There are buses, minibuses, ferries, seabuses, sea taxis, trams, subway. Taxi is also relatively cheaper than it is in most metropolitans. You could do just fine in Istanbul without owning a car.you have a lot of thing to do. Beautiful museum, very good food, blue mosque... the bosphorus, you can also take the boat to go to the beach ! The weather is very good Istiklal street is the best ! H&M, pull&bears, Zara, Nike, Adidas ! you have also the big commercial center Cihangir with attraction park inside :D

beautiful moderne Istanbul is an expensive city for nonerasmus student. But students mostly go cafes,restaurant etc.
