What is it like to live in Istanbul? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Dear sirs,madam
Since 1999,when I was 18 I traveled to Germany and stayed for 2 years,long enogh to travel to the most of country,since.l had traveled to the most of the part,I decided to discover the rest.more then 20 countries including some in north Africa.Then I decided to carry on my study.the decision took me to the Uk.my holidays and resting place was cran canaria(Maspalomas)
I thought I had found the Bevan on earth,however traveled there for about 8 times I started to understand how soulless this place is as I'm a part time writer and could speak German,(Germans)are, the majority of tourists in that part of the world.so I suspended sometimes writing about the history, culture and Mandy more things,but that was before getting to know Turkey. As I'm a person who had been leaving most of his life ,from 18 so on, I'm 38 now, I always where looking for a place with history and nature,It has been a 4 years I have found the city,

What is the student lifestyle like in Istanbul?

I used to study in uk and germany I believe Istanbul s more friendly environment

How much does it cost to live in Istanbul?
