Except accommodation, you can live with around 1000 Turkish Liras (TRY) per month.
Is it hard to find a flat in Istanbul? Do you have any advice?
It's easy... sharing a flat is becoming more common nowadays, there are a lot of flats for every budget depending on the area you choose.
How is the food? Do you have any favourite dishes?
Superb. Every dish you try will be a dream come true for your stomach.
Which places do you suggest visiting in Istanbul?
Historical peninsula, both European and Anatolian sides of Boshphorus bridge and all the museums.
How are the restaurants in Istanbul? Could you mention your favourite places?
Fish and kebab restaurants are very nice. "Taç Balık" and "Yakamoz" in Kanlica are the best for me. "Sahan" and "Adana Yüzyıl" are kebab restaurants in Ataşehir. Besides those, you can find a lot of snack restaurants which are cheap.
Is the night life is good in Istanbul? Where should be gone?
Ulus 29, Reina and many other places in Kadıköy where you can find live music performances for example, Ataşehir If, Monc Live and Dorock XL, etc.
Any advice you want to give to future students in Istanbul?
Don't fall under someone's spell and don't skip your classes.
