Why did you choose to go to Istanbul, Turkey?

Mainly because of my father's job

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

actually my scholarship is just 50% but I still have to pay a lot of money

What is the student lifestyle like in Istanbul?

student lifestyle here is really relax, people are really kind and also economic for student too

Would you recommend the city and the University of Istanbul to other students?

Arel University, Bahcesehir University, Koc University, Bogazici University

What is the food like?

I can only say that when you try it, you will fall in love with it :P

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Istanbul?

yes it did.

How much does it cost to live in Istanbul?

it depends where you want to live, for example in Mecidiyekoy the minimum cost is about 550 TL

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

turkish is easy but i recommend that if the student have free time they should go to Tomer language courses to study turkish

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Istanbul from your city?

the easiest transportation is Metrobus

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Istanbul?

I recommend Taksim

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Istanbul?

I also recommend that in Taksim or Nisantasi

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

the are lot of old agriculture to visit

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Istanbul in the future?

I believe that future student will fall in love with this city but the things i also advice is that they should go to some turkish courses to learn abit basic turkish, therefor everything will be easier
