It's really cool, great opportunity to meet erasmus people partying, at university and hang around the city

Absolutely

What is the food like?

Food is delicious, together with italian food is one of the best, kebap, corbas and baklava, amazing!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Istanbul?

No

How much does it cost to live in Istanbul?

Well it depends, if you are a good money saver, you could survive with 500E/month

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Mmm turkish at the beginning is not easy at all, with languages is always question of attitude and frequency in practicing, yes there are university language courses

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Istanbul from your city?

By plan, pegasus airline

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Istanbul?

Mmm hardest question to answer, go to kadikoy , bar street for a pint of beer, then enjoy a cake at panka and finish your night in taksim

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Istanbul?

Mmm all the kiosks on the road are always good, otherwise I'd suggest the ones in Kadikoy

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

A lot
