Yes, of course. depending on your budget.

What is the food like?

Not so good but it's normal.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Istanbul?

Yes of course may be between 800 to 1200 TL/month

How much does it cost to live in Istanbul?

May be 200-350 $/month

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, the language courses available at my university and I thinks many other universities have language center there.

The language like any other language need more practice, but it have many similarities with Arabic language and the countries around Russia like Kazakhstan .... will be easier for them.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Istanbul from your city?

With plane the only available transportation facility.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Istanbul?

The old streets like istiklal streets

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Istanbul?

No, I can't. Because it different between one person to another.

Topkapı Palace
Hagia Sophia
Gülhane Park
İstanbul Archaeology Museum
Istanbul Aquarium

The last advice walk walk walk walk let yourself to Istanbul and it will let you know her more and more.
