Why did you choose to go to Istanbul, Turkey?

Due to the fact that is multicultural city and famous because of many touristic attractions

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Around 5 months.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Istanbul to other students?

I would do so, it is a completely different experience that gives us many other perspectives.

What is the food like?

Delicious, Turkey has everithing that I could imagine. Food is way different that the one I am use to however I am enjoying it now. 5 stars for food

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Istanbul?

It was hard to find a place close to my school. A bit expensive I would say

How much does it cost to live in Istanbul?

it is cheap to eat. if we talk about rent it´s expensive

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

yes there are courses available

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Istanbul from your city?

By using Metro Bus, faster and cheaper than Metro

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Istanbul?

I do not know

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Istanbul?

Q plus is the only one that I know so far, then the regular fast food restaurants

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Blue Mosque

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Istanbul in the future?

If they are coming in winter be ready with cloth, it is really cold here. Try to learn basic Turkish phrases. And definitele enjoy
