Discovering Istanbul
Istanbul is just an incredible city. And i mean incredible in a way that you certainly are not expecting it. It starts with the culture and ends with the view.
My first days were so confusing. Besides always being lost, finding a person that spoke well english was quite hard. The great thing about this was that I was always descovering new places, not wirtten in the tourist maps, and that you always have a street that you've never been to.
After a while, I started understanding how the transportation works, where to buy the cheapest and good quality food, where to go to have a nice view (almost everywhere in this city), where to see islamic art, where to have a cheap çay (turkish tea), the best turkish coffee, and so many other stuff. But still, getting lost in the streets was part of my daily basis and I actually start enjoying getting lost.
This city is so amazingly different, it's so enormous, that you just have too much stuff to see, even in one semester you cannot see everything.

Being an art student, I was in love with the rush, the people and the culture, so I did this illustration, where I show some of the important and beautiful places to go, but also I tried to show what a confusing city it is.
