Discovering another culture in Istanbul

Istanbul, I love you so much!

I totally fell in love with this city.

In November 2016, I flew to Istanbul for the first time with my father.

Coincidentally, my father had to travel to Istanbul for his job so he asked me to join him on his trip. How could I turn up that offer?! Late in the evening, we arrived in the beautiful Istanbul. Although it was dark, I could enjoy the beautiful buildings and the amazing architecture of Istanbul. The atmosphere is also really comfortable. Everyone greets you and sincerely wants to help you if you suddenly get lost, for example.

First Day

On the first day we went to the Grand Bazaar. In this bazaar they all sold all kinds of different products like herbs, silver, gold, carpets, souvenirs, decoration and lights. Furthermore you can order a delicious cup of Turkish tea. In the evening, we went to a restaurant located near the universities where we ate a delicious Adana Kebab.

Second Day

In the morning we had a traditional Turkish breakfast which was called sucuk yumurta which is Turkish sausage with eggs. After that, we visited the Blue Mosque. It's a beautiful mosque which is amazing from the inside as well the outside. There is a square where the mosque is located and there we had a lunch accompanied by a panoramic view. After that we saw the Sultan's Palace.
