Why did you choose to go to Innsbruck, Austria?

I got offered an internship in Innsbruck at which I am to graduate. Besides that, I knew that the city offered a lot of outdoor sport possibilities. I experienced trail biking of the Alpes, skiing of the Alpes at multiple ski resorts around the city (which are really easy to reach by provided bus-lines). Furthermore, students that love walking in nature will love Innsbruck and surroundings.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The duration of my internship was 5 months. I was offered 200 euros per month and they helped me found my accommodation which is not easy.

I wouldn't rate the food very special, it's mostly like food in other European cities. However, there are some local specialities which students should try.

I would say, start in bars like Moustache, the Irish pub, or Central and continue to Börgen street where there are a lot of different clubs: Tante Emma, Project...

For eating cheap and delicious I advice the student burrito restaurant (forgot the name).

The old town of Innsbruck and its museums are very attractive for culture lovers.
