My coffee break
I have been thinking, what is the thing that Italians love the most except spaghetti alla bolognese and maybe their own hand gestures? Coffee, or to be precise espresso! I am Italian and, in fact, I do love coffee, but in any form. Ice cream coffee flavor, tiramisù, double coffee, etc., just give me all!
I grew up watching movies with Starbucks cafés in it and before moving to the USA I thought that was such a cool place to go to. Why am I saying this? Because Italy does not have one yet. Yes, I know. Starbucks is everywhere, from the US to Spain, France, Denmark and China, but no. No Italy in that long list.
Truth is, once I arrived in the USA I barely remembered that Starbucks existed. Why? Because my American friends and family would drink coffee really anywhere. And I started to drink the local coffee rather than drinking it from a worldwide chain that I can find almost anywhere (sorry! ). So I ended up driving through The Human Bean. It is really good. Any size and any coffee-based drink:
- Granitas;
- Iced coffee;
- American coffee;
- Latte;
- Etc.
You can choose to put whipped cream on top and they also put a bean on top. It is just the perfect drink for your road trips during the winter but also during the summer!
