Because it has a great university and because of the research center Deutsches Primatenzentrum.

What is the student lifestyle like in Göttingen?
I wasn't actually a student, i was a intern in the DPZ.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Göttingen to other students?
Definitly! Göttingen is the best city for foreign students. It is a very welcoming city!
What is the food like?
The restaurants are a little expensive but the food is good!
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Göttingen?
Yes, a little because I was staying for little time so it was difficult to find a place.
How much does it cost to live in Göttingen?
600-700€ total.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
I already knew German, so it was easy, I also think there are classes for Erasmus students
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Göttingen from your city?
I am from another country so plane and then train.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Göttingen?
I didn't go out much as I was making a internship.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Göttingen?

What good cultural sites are there to visit?
University campus, churches, botanical gardens.
