What is it like to live in Gdansk? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Gdansk is a good place to live and I would of course recommend it. Two minuses in my opinion are traffic jams and air pollutions.

What is the student lifestyle like in Gdansk?

There are three main universities in Gdansk and foreign students are welcome. There are also student organizations, juwenalia with concerts, parties for students, discotheques and so on.

How much does it cost to live in Gdansk?

For sure it is cheaper than in many other European cities. It is possible to find a flat that costs about 1200 zł but it depends on the localization. According to my knowledge the price of a room in student house is about 500 zł/month.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Gdansk? Is there any advice you can give?

It is easier to find accommodation, if you want to rent for the whole year. For short time rent I have no experience. Here you can star looking in websites like Ogloszenia, Otodom and Gratka
