How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I received €230 each month for 4 months. The scholarship was enough to pay the rent of the flat plus some extras.

What is the student lifestyle like in Gdansk?

The student lifestyle is simply amazing in Tricity, you can have a party from Tuesday till Sunday everyday. Especially I love Sopot.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Gdansk to other students?

Of course, it's the place to be. I guess that an Erasmus experience in Tricity has no rivals.

What is the food like?

I really liked Polish cuisine, and in supermarkets you can also find whatever you need to feel like home.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Gdansk?

It wasn't so difficult cause students from ESN helped me to find a room. I lived in Siesta hostel, believe an experience that I would never change instead of a normal flat. If you are curious, just google it.

How much does it cost to live in Gdansk?

I have to say that the cost of living is really cheap but you need to pay attention. It depends on your lifestyle. If you go out every night at the end of the month you will feel it on your bank account.

For sure by plane, but also by bus (Polskibus) from Warsaw is very cheap. And from Warsaw to every country you can easily find cheap flights.
