Why did you choose to go to Gdansk, Poland?

Because the cost of living is lower, the education is quite reasonable, the party is very good and the places to visit are awesome.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

1000 €. It's nothing special but the living costs are low. What I have spent in Poland, in total, was almost the same that I spend here in Portugal (without the same fun and trips).

Would you recommend the city and the University of Gdansk to other students?

Yes. Completely!

What is the food like?

I do not like Polish food, it is completely different than the Portuguese food (very spicy). So at the beggining I used to go to restaurants, but after some time, I decided to cook in my student appartment.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Gdansk?

No. I stayed in a Polish student residence, and I knew it since I was in Portugal.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

No, it is not. It's difficult for me because it's not a Romance language.

I don't know if there are in University, but I had a friend that took some courses in Gdansk near Dormitory 5.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Gdansk from your city?

By Airplane.
