How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
From February till May. I receive 235€ to support my living costs.
What is the student lifestyle like in Gdansk?
A lot of fun and parties.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Gdansk to other students?
Yes.
What is the food like?
The food here is really good, especially the traditional Polish dishes.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Gdansk?
No.
How much does it cost to live in Gdansk?
I live in a very nice apartment, with a TV in every room. the apartment is pretty new, and it costs 1000ZL.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
No, the language is difficult. But I follow a language course in Politechnika.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Gdansk from your city?
Airplane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Gdansk?
Parliament, Bunkier, Absinth.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Gdansk?
I've only been to Kos and to Hotel Gdansk (Brovarnia).
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
I have only visited Old town so far.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Gdansk in the future?
Just come here and enjoy the experience, it will be fun for sure!
