All'antico Vinaio, Firenze
All'Antico Vinaio, Firenze is one of the famous panini shop, which has reached the maximum ratings in online websites, located at Florence city center. Besides the highest ratings, this is one of the oldest street food shop, which attracts more than thousands of daily customers. Due to the huge number of customers waiting in the queue, two shops of All'Antico Vinaio have been opened, facing to each other at the same location, where few steps away from Uffizi and Palazzo della Signoria. You can find this shop following this address. Via dei Neri, 74/R, 50100 Firenze FI.
Altogether there are three shops under the same name of All'Antico Vinaio as All'Antico Vinaio, All'Antico Vinaio Atto II and All'Antico Vinaio Atto III. However, originally these panini shops belonged to the restaurant, namely All' Antico Vinaio, which is operated from 1991 by the Mazzanti family. This restaurant achieved the title of most reviewed restaurant in 2014. All Antico Vinaio offers best Tuscany cuisine.
All'Antico Vinaio offers a variety of panini in different combinations, near All' Antico Vinaio restaurant. When I went to All'Antico Vinaio, it was around 11. 30 a. m., basically right before lunch time. Nevertheless, more than two hundred people were waiting in the queue on both sides of the street for both panini shop. Due to the long queue, I decided to come back later right after lunch time.
I came back at around 4. 00 p. m., quite a long time after lunch, but I was surprised by seeing a queue the same size again for this shop. But I was determined to wait in the queue, since I was also curious to taste these panini after seeing the huge demand. After waiting one hour and fifteen minutes in the queue, finally I was lucky enough to reach the threshold of the shop.
They have displayed five different categories of panini mentioning the different mixings of the panini in front of the door. Each type of panini included five different cream sauce and five different ingredients such as salami, porketta, some vegetables, etc.
I chose a spicy source, Porchetta, rukola and bringles. Panini was fresh and hot. When I taste the first bit, I was amazed by taste of it.
If you do not wish to get the panini with the fixed ingredients, then the staff is kind enough to make your own taste panini according to your choice. Every panini costs five euro and it is worthy of this price. I was so full after eating it, since the size of the panino was a bit large.
I would like to recommend this place for you to eat panini or dinner at the restaurant, even though you should wait in the queue, due to taste of the meals. But if you go after 5. 30 or 6. 00 in the evening, then at that time you should not wait at the queue for a long time. I think that during the peak season especially in summer and holiday season, this place is much more crowded than this. But you should taste at least once in your lifetime from this place. If you go to Florence, then do not miss this place.
I have downloaded some of the photos from the internet, since I was not able to take photos due to the huge crowd inside of the panini shop. Staff was very busy and asking our panini menu very quickly. So, we had to stay tight with the queue, while paying the attention. Furthermore, after getting the panini from the chefs, we had to go inside further towards the cashier to pay the bill. So, it was unable to take the photographs.
