How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
6 month, the grant from university - 250 euro, living costs (includes accommodation, Internet, good food and many trips+transport) - about 300 euro per month.
What is the student lifestyle like in Faro?
No problem with university, the best teachers ever. The most remembered thing- Erasmus office with Paula and Dina (helps with everything). Not many thing to do in the city, because it is small, for the students who like relaxing in the beach and party in a few clubs. The atmosphere is really nice.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Faro to other students?
Yes, of course. The best part of my life.
What is the food like?
Delicious, I love fish (not expensive), really tasty food in good price.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Faro?
I paid 50 euro before I came to Faro, the rest I paid when I met the owner.
How much does it cost to live in Faro?
250-350 euro per month.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Yes, of course.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Faro from your city?
There was no economical way - really high prices for the plane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Faro?
Patrimonio.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Faro?
Many of them, especially in Jumbo shophouse.
