What is it like to live in Faro? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Faro is really nice. I would totally recommend it, the weather is good most of the year and as it is a small city it is not too busy.

How much does it cost to live in Faro?

Living in Faro is not that much expensive when you compare it with other portuguese cities like Lisbon. But however the prices are rising. Renting a room costs 200-300€ per month.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Faro? Is there any advice you can give?

Yes it is now difficult to find accommodation since the University is getting more popular and there is a lack of accommodation. Search online and near the university for advertisings.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is really good. Portuguese food in general is very good.

What places would you recommend visiting in Faro?

I would recommend to visit the beach and Cidade Velha.

Is the nightlife good in Faro? Where is good to go?

Yes, you have a few clubs/discos such as Património, First Floor and Call in.
