Faro is the capital of Algarve, so you can find all necessary things for a good life. It has an old city and a new one, and you just need a one day, to walk around and see most of it.

What is the student lifestyle like in Faro?

There are a lot of Erasmus students and the life in Faro is very active even during the winter time. Actually Winter in Algarve is not that winter is like very much Summer.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

If you appear in Faro or somewhere in Algarve, eat as much seafood as you can, all day and all night.

Is the nightlife good in Faro? Where is good to go?

Behind of McDonald's which you will see someday for sure is a street full of bars, you can go from bar to bar explore, enjoy the live music, and if you walk a bit more you will find a near street full of clubs with good music to dance and have a full Friday night.

My favorite Bar in Faro so far is Didatura, always with a good live music from all over Algarve, good prices and nice people.

What advice would you give future students heading to Faro?

Enjoy your time, and don't even think of spending one day closed in your room.
