What is it like to live in Faro? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Faro, study where is good to live. Faro is a small town but with a lot to offer, beach, Supermarkets, bars, gym, parks, shopping, cinema, church, etc. Also, here we have sun almost 365 days!
What is the student lifestyle like in Faro?
Classes are not that bad... It's classes :D
Our lesson timetables are short and we have half day free to do whatever we want to! Also, there are University parties from Tuesday to Saturday in the night clubs. Once a month, happens a big party inside the university with live shows: Arraial and in May we have Semana Académica, a big 10 days festival with lots of music, international bands and so on!
How much does it cost to live in Faro?
You can find a really good room for 160+20(bills)! Food is almost like every other place in Europe, but here you have cheap fruit and vegetables, fresh meat and fish, looooots of fish! You can go to the gym for 20€ or participate in University group classes for 12. 50€. Coffee costs 70 cents and a beer 1€(bar) or 50 cents(supermarket).
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Faro? Is there any advice you can give?

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
We have a lot of fish and seafood, we use a lot of olive oil, olives. But you can find anything you want here!
What places would you recommend visiting in Faro?
Sé Cathedral, Passeio Ribeirinho, Old Town, Carmo Church, Farol Island, Ludo.

Is the nightlife good in Faro? Where is good to go?
It is good, but we only have one street with bars, which I think is great because you find everyone there! You can start the night in "Maktub" or "Call In". Then dance a little in "First floor" or "Património" and end the night in the club "Twice"
What advice would you give future students heading to Faro?
Bring sunglasses, suncream and bikini and be prepared for weak public transport facilities.
