The environment is fantastic, here in Évora there is time to do everything, study, party and work. You need to know how to balance things.

On average, how much did you spend living in Évora?

I pay 185 euros for the house, which is next to the Praça do Giraldo, with bills included. But I spent 200 euros on everything else! Around 385 euros per month.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Évora? Do you have any advice you can give?

It's not difficult, in the university hubs there are lots of advertisements for rooms and you can find loads of houses there!

How's the food? What are your favourite delicacies?

The food is great, the best is "migas à alentejana", bread sauce, amongst others. The meat and fish are also very good.

Which sites would you recommend to visit in Évora?

The Temple of Diana, the Chapel of Bones, the Giraldo Square, the Garcia Rezende Theatre, amongst other things.

How is the quality of restaurants in Évora? Can you tell us the best restaurants?

I think that almost all of them are good, in general.

How's the night-life in Évora? Where are the best places?

The night-life is good, there are two night clubs ("Pulse" and "Praxis"), there are also some bars ("Passion", "Eme", "Molhó bico", "Harmonia"... ). There are also places to have coffee at night, in this case I would recommend: "Spettus", "Seistetos" and "Aqui há gato".

What advice would you give future students who are going to Évora?

Make the most of the students life and go out almost every day to visit the beautiful alentejo countryside!
