Experience in Cordoba, Spain by Julia
What did you think of Cordoba as a place to live? Would you recommend it? How was it?
It's a very beautiful and welcoming city.
How much does it cost to live in Cordoba?
It's not expensive.
Did you have any trouble finding accommodation in Cordoba? Can you offer any advice?
I spent the first year in a residence. If you are going alone I would not recommend it because el Brillante was quite far from the centre. This year I am with a host family, having classes in the afternoon works well for me because it takes a lot of work. The people that are living in flats are also all doing well too.
How was the food in your country? What are your favourite dishes?
For people that are vegetarian or that don't eat a lot of meat and fish I wouldn't recommend it
What places would you recommend to visit in Cordoba?
La Mezquita, Medina Azahara, el Alcázar...
Can you list some of your favourite places to eat out in Cordoba?
Los Santos, famous for its large servings of food, especially tortillas. La Abadía drinks cost around 2 euros because they give you tapas for free.
What places would you recommend in Cordoba for going out?
La Fontana, Long Rock, Banagher...
Any other advice you would like to give to future students going to Cordoba?
You won't encounter any problems in this city.
