Why did you choose to go to Córdoba, Spain?

I am part of an Erasmus MUNDUS program, and the choice was Cordoba or North of France! Not hard to pick.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Total of 800 euros for 4 months.

What is the student lifestyle like in Córdoba?

Cool! If you want to enjoy yourself - come!

If you want to learn - do not come! Teaching is definitely not the best here! (I was disappointed about that! )

Would you recommend the city and the University of Córdoba to other students?

Yes.

What is the food like?

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Córdoba?

I paid 400 euros a month for a private apartment.

How much does it cost to live in Córdoba?

600-800 euros a month depending on how much fun you want to have! Clubbing and visiting other cities close to here included!

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Intensive classes are available only at the beginning of the semester. For 30 hours!

It's enough if you actually get to practice it with Spanish people. Make local friends! It will really help you learn the language! and really... it's not that hard!

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Córdoba from your city?

Sevilla, Malaga, or Madrid airport, and then train!

Vueling is the air company I was using.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Córdoba?

Going to "tapear"!

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Córdoba?

It's hard to find a bad place... even Colombian and Argentinian restaurants here are amazing! And cheap!

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

  • Mezquita, of course

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Córdoba in the future?

Again... do not expect much from the University and their teaching skills... but it's perfect for enjoying yourself with good weather, nice and kind people around you!
