Why did you choose to go to Córdoba, Spain?

I get good recommendation by friend who was here. I wanted to experience something different

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I am staying here for 4 months, I am going home before Christmas. I have opportunity to come back in January for travelling but I am not coming. I get 420e per month and that is not enough, you need around 600e if you are planning to travel.
Transport costs are high, buses and BlaBla car are cheapest. This is one bad thing.

What is the student lifestyle like in Córdoba?

Student life is amazing. Party is amazing here, weather too. I like school here (University of Loyola), everything is so good at this school, you will learn a lot of new things and professors are our friends. City is beautiful and you always have what to do here. Spanish people are amazing.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Córdoba to other students?

I recommend city, it is in center of Andalusia and you can easily travel (don't forget that Andalusia and Spain is huge) so center position is really useful. I recommend University of Loyola more than University of Cordoba. Cordoba is really nice city, especially now during Christmas time. Weather is amazing, never raining, wind or snowing.

What is the food like?

Food is great. Different than in my country. Tapas (small food) something like entree meal is really good everywhere. You can taste everything, so many restaurants, fast foods, tapaserias (where you find cheap and tasty tapas).

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Córdoba?

I found flat through Interasmundo agency. It is cheaper than Solrent agency. I payed deposit and accommodation costs before and I am paying rent, internet an electricity every month. You can find nice and cheaper flats. But it is only place where you don't spent so much time.

How much does it cost to live in Córdoba?

If you are planning party and travelling then around 500 or 600 e per month. It depends.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

At my University, Loyola, it is possibility to attend at Spanish course or you have cheaper way in some language school. Language is beautiful and here usually people don't speak English so you will learn lot of Spanish words.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Córdoba from your city?

From my home city, by airplane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Córdoba?

Pubs: O'Donoghue, Banagher, La Fontana
Clubs: Bambu, Gongora, Babylonia

Best days with erasmus people: tuesday, thursday
Dest days with spanish people: wednesday, friday and saturday

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Córdoba?

100 Montaditos (Tapas + good radler)
Mercado de Victoria
Mercado la Marquesa
Moriles Pata Negra

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Córdoba in the future?

If you come to Cordoba bring winter jacket because during December, January and February it is cold.
There is no ESN, only Erasmus Family and EIS agencies (agencies for Erasmus people) and try both. Both have trips, party. With EIS you will find interesting things.
Go to Algarve paradise, it was amazing. Go to Granada, Seville, Malaga and Nerja (you can swim here), Gibraltar...
In Cordoba are around 300 Erasmus people and you can always find friends, just avoid bad people and you will be good.
Learn some Spanish before arriving!
