Why did you choose to go to Copenhagen, Denmark?

There is a good University of Technical Architecture and Construction Management, and also because it is a very cosmopolitan and beautiful city. Every day you can find new places to visit.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My scholarship lasts only for 5 months, but I would stay here for one year. Erasmus+ gives to me 2. 000 €, but the flat costs are already about 2. 500 €. So it's not enough.

What is the student lifestyle like in Copenhagen?

It's so expensive, but very good. The funniest thing is that all the students go everywhere by bike!

Would you recommend the city and the University of Copenhagen to other students?

Of course! It's a very beautiful city. It's enough big to find everything you need, and also very relaxed!

What is the food like?

It's... different. I'm Spanish, and the Mediterranean diet, in my opinion, is the best one, but the food here isn't so bad.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Copenhagen?

No, because my Danish university (Kea) helped me find it.

How much does it cost to live in Copenhagen?

It costs about 800 - 1000 € per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with?

No. The language is very difficult to learn and also to speak and understand.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Copenhagen from your city?

By plane, with either Norwegian or Iberia Express.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Copenhagen?

Flamingo, Meatpaking, Penthouse, Minibar and Culorbar.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Copenhagen?

Dalle Valle, Paludan and Five Stars.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Take a guide of Copenhagen. I am writing a blog about Copenhagen by the way, but have not finished yet. It is a very small city, so you can visit it in a couple of days.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Copenhagen in the future?

Do it, travel to Copenhagen, live new experiences. You will not regret it...It is a magnificent city!
