What is it like to live in Copenhagen? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Generally speaking,the city is nice but you should be ready for some challenges like in finding a place to live and biking!But of course, very polite and kind people with high level culture.
What is the student lifestyle like in Copenhagen?
There are so many facilities and possibilities as you expect as a capital city of EU country.
How much does it cost to live in Copenhagen?
- Accommodation: at least 560 euro/month, for a private room in a share house
- Food and drink: at least 250 euro/month, for those are familiar with kitchen!
Transportation: depends on you!If you choose biking it costs just the bike,at least 80 euro.you can find it in www.dba.dk (use google translator,it has it's worth),highly recommended
bus: each trip costs about 3.2 euro
Taxi: do not think about it!it is too expensive.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Copenhagen? Is there any advice you can give?
It is so difficult to find a place to live and register for CPR. CPR is number that you should take it form commune(the municipality).Without it you are not even exist in CPH!you can not have or buy anything officially,or opening a bank account or getting a student job.It is a strange challenge.By the way this websites could help you:
