There are both positive and negative aspects of living in Copenhagen.

Positive aspects:

    - Rich culture.

    - Lots to do and see.

    - Great for going out, dining etc.

    - You will recieve money to study.

    - Great education system.

Negative aspects:

    - Very expensive to live in Copenhagen.

    - Very hard to find a place to live, and you won´t get much for your money.

    - Expensive to go out, to eat, and practically everything is expensive.

So bottom line is:

Copenhagen is a very beautiful city, and a great choice for study. One must keep in mind though, that it´s very expensive to live in CPH, it´s hard to find a place to live, and everything is expensive actually.

What is the student lifestyle like in Copenhagen?

Student life in Copenhagen is great! It is a very international city. Almost everyone speak English.

The education system is great, and you can even get money to study.

How much does it cost to live in Copenhagen?

It is very expensive to live in Copenhagen.

A small room (10 square feet) is normally 500-700 euro.

If you want an apartment in the city, you´ll easily pay 1000 euro a month for a one bedroom.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Copenhagen? Is there any advice you can give?

It can be very difficult to find accomodation in Copenhagen.

Easiest way is to go to Facebook, and find some pages for rooms and rentals in Copenhagen.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is okay.

Danish food can be quite heavy.

Copenhagen has a huge variety of restaurants though with all kinds of cousine. You'll find some amazing restaurants in the city.

What places would you recommend visiting in Copenhagen?

You´ll definitely have to visit:

    - Tivoli, and the gardens.

Is it good to eat out in Copenhagen? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It os amazing to eat out in Copenhagen! But again, is expensive.

Cocks and Cows is a must if you love gourmet burgers, and MASH has amazing steaks.

Go to Tripadvisor, and you´ll find some amazing restaurants.

Is the nightlife good in Copenhagen? Where is good to go?

The nightlife is fine.

Go to the main street of Copenhagen, and you´ll find a huge variaty of bars, and clubs.

What advice would you give future students heading to Copenhagen?

  1. Get a bike! Copenhagen is definitely a bicycle city. It is an easy, and fun way to get around.
  2. Be sure to save up some money, and make a budget.
  3. Look for accomodation long before going to Copenhagen, so you'll be sure to find something.
  4. Look for jobs! If you want to live in Copenhagen, you really need to have a part time job, in order to pay for the expensive costs of living.
