Why did you choose to go to Copenhagen, Denmark?

Cause my cousin was studying there some years before and he told me it was a great experience; also because everybody speak english in Denmark and I needed to improve my language skills. I also chose Copenhagen because of the classes at Copenhagen University, I really liked and enjoyed them.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

5 months, i received something like 200 euros, which were not sufficient to really helm me.

What is the student lifestyle like in Copenhagen?

Crazy!!! Always parties and entertainment.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Copenhagen to other students?

Yes for the lifestyle and classes, not for the money!!!

What is the food like?

good! Many potatoes and salmon.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Copenhagen?

Yeees!!! I spent almost 2 months to find an accommodation.

How much does it cost to live in Copenhagen?

too much.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

it's really hard as a language, but there were courses available in the University and almost everybody spoke english, so it was not difficult to communicate with danish people.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Copenhagen from your city?

Flying.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Copenhagen?

Jazz bar in Christiania, Studentherhuset, Friday bar, Kulorbar...

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Copenhagen?

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Copenhagen in the future?

Start to look for accommodation many months before leaving!
