Why did you choose to go to Copenhagen, Denmark?

Caused of good studies.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

3 months, Master thesis writing. 520 euro per month (around 4000 DKR). I paid 3600 DKR for my living room per month, room was located in second zone of city, 15 mins from my faculty on foot, it was two rooms flat, we lived two).

What is the student lifestyle like in Copenhagen?

Brilliant!

Would you recommend the city and the University of Copenhagen to other students?

Yes, I would!

What is the food like?

Very poor, unfortunately... Food is mixed... some Italian, most of them from Germany like sausages, hamburgers... very poor...

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Copenhagen?

No, but its really complicated to find...

How much does it cost to live in Copenhagen?

Expensive... I got 520€ per month Erasmus scholarship, it's 4000 DKR, I paid 3600 DKR for my room in two rooms flat per month, moreover, deposit was 8000 DKR, public transport is 24 DKR (around 4€) one ticket by bus... that's why most of people are going by bike. It's not a cheap country... Normaly I think so, you need 14 000 DSKR per month (its a minimum salary there), and its around 2000€.

No problem speak in English there, everybody does that in Copenhagen, no stress and no problems. Yes, they have Danish language course for free if you are working part time for example, and University can organize as well.

I am from Lithuania, Vilnius. Well for me the easiest way was by plane of course, but the most economical by bus.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Copenhagen?

Everywhere you can find something suits for you. Some rules: smile, be social, and do not afraid to relax... Danish people are very kind and helpful if you are smiling or talking. They really are kind and good people! And happy!

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Copenhagen?

In old city or downtown of city there are a lot of restaurants or pubs. Some of them have Societies meeting on Sundays and you can eat for free, talk, have fun, drinks are not for free. I mean gays communities.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Mostly theaters.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Copenhagen in the future?

Be positive if you want to give back smile. Cause Danish people are very kind if you are the same, simple! Then no stress. And course try find a job, even your parents are rich :) Find a part-time job in Copenhagen not a problem, and you must not talk in Danish :) And its wonderful city, magic society, people are example kind and good :) Good luck!
