Why did you choose to go to Copenhagen, Denmark?

I was assigned to that.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I stayed there for four months and I received 1000 euros per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Copenhagen?

It is quite good and fun, however, I didn´t have the chance to meet many other students.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Copenhagen to other students?

Yes, it was a nice experience for me. The campus offers many places for social gathering and studying.

What is the food like?

It was ok, nothing special.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Copenhagen?

No, I was able to find my place with the help of a friend.

How much does it cost to live in Copenhagen?

It depends on the rent, around 800 euros I think.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Copenhagen?

There are many cool bars in the centre, and christiania of course.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Copenhagen?

I didn´t try many restaurants, as they were so expensive.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Christiania

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Copenhagen in the future?

Bring warm clothes, and if possible, stay in the centre, since public transport is not that good, and because of the weather, you dont want to be cycling in the wind and snow all the time.
