Very relaxed.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Copenhagen to other students?

YES!

What is the food like?

Expensive, but there is a lot of variety if you want it. Just be prepared to pay!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Copenhagen?

No. Subleasing from a friend.

How much does it cost to live in Copenhagen?

I pay 5500 kr. to live in a 2 br. apartment with my boyfriend.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

No. The language is nearly impossible. But there are a ton of resources for learning if you're prepared to put in the time.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Copenhagen from your city?

I'm from the US, so fly?

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Copenhagen?

Depends on what kind of atmosphere you want. If you're looking for small, hipster bodegas, Nørrebro or Vesterbro. If you want more packed, expensive, but fun bars with a wide range of people, the city center. If you want clubs, the Meat Packing District.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Copenhagen?

Manfreds and Vin! Halifax Burger, Lele (Vietnamese fusion), Cafe Sorgenfri

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Louisiana Museum, any castle, Nyhavn, Castillet, Jensen's World Clock/Radhus, Tivoli, Deer Park

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Copenhagen in the future?

Just have fun! It's easy.
