How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My Erasmus was 6 months, I don't require the needs for the full scholarship. I got right enough to pay for my room each month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Copenhagen?

Really nice and good. A lot of students and the Danish people are really nice and helpful.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Copenhagen to other students?

I didn't study at the University of Copenhagen but at Metropolitan. I had classes with internationals and Danish students which was a really great mix. I would definitely recommend the city! And also the university I went to!

What is the food like?

Reeeaaallyy good! The sweets are delicious, definitely try the Kanelstange! You have a lot of good places to eat which are not that expensive.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Copenhagen?

Yes, I had to pay some money to my university to find me accommodation. But it was worth it, in that way I was sure I had a good place. I first tried to find things on my own, but that was impossible and really expensive, also they are a lot of fakers so watch out!

How much does it cost to live in Copenhagen?

It depends. I cook a lot for myself and try to watch my budget because it is a more expensive place then others... But I would say everything included about 400-500 euro a months.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There are language courses available, but I didn't do it. The Danes can speak really good English, like really good! So it's no problem at all if you don't know Danish. I only know some basic words know, but it's a really hard language.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Copenhagen from your city?

Easiest way is flying, Ryanair is flying so it's cheap. If you're having a big pack with you, like 20kg I would recommend the youth flight of SAS, good deal! Only your trip and free luggage.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Copenhagen?

Meatpacking district in Vesterbro or the Studenthuset or also a big nightlife street right in the centre but thats really expensive.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Copenhagen?

Gorms, Neighboorhood, Cafe Mandela, Torvenhalle, Norebrogade (just the street), Grillen, Coffee collective.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Christiania, the Little Mermaid, Nyhavn, Torvenhalle, Vesterbro, Frederiksberg, Malmö, Louisiana Museum, Design Museum, Rosenborg Slot, Ameldenbourg Palace,...
