Why did you choose to go to Copenhagen, Denmark?

I was looking for a scandinavian destination, and searching on the most important cities in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway, I thought that Copenhagen was the most beautiful place to live.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I have been in Copenhagen for five months and the money I have received was (totally) 1550 €.

What is the student lifestyle like in Copenhagen?

I´m in love with the student lifestyle in Copenhagen. There was people organizing trips and different events in the university so if you choose Copenhagen as your destination, you are going to have an exciting lifestyle

Would you recommend the city and the University of Copenhagen to other students?

Yes of course, but it is very expensive.

What is the food like?

I don´t like danish food......... I was everyday eating in Macdo´s or Seven eleven :P

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Copenhagen?

No, the university helped me and hired a room in a College

How much does it cost to live in Copenhagen?

2000 € per month

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, there are some courses available and are for free. But the language.... is not very easy to learn it

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Copenhagen from your city?

By plane, of course

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Copenhagen?

The best place to have party in Copenhagen if you are a exchange student, is Kulørbar. There are another interesting places like Sukkerbageren, Student House and Penthouse.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Copenhagen?

For me, the best restaurant in CPH to have lunch or dinner is "Alle Dalle". IF you want to taste a special burger you can also go to streckers, in front of the main door of Tivoli

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Tivoli, of course, the little marmade, Nyhavn, the royal palace....

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Copenhagen in the future?
