Why did you choose to go to Copenhagen, Denmark?

I chose to go to Copenhagen to realize my exchange in order to improve my english. Indeed, all of the courses are in english and everybody speaks perfectly english.
Besides, I did not know the scandinavien countries and I was attracted by this new culture.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The 80% of the scolarship comes around december. The other 20% comes when you come back nin January. I received 1000€ (800/200€)

What is the student lifestyle like in Copenhagen?

There are so many things to do where you're student.
First, when you arrive, the universty organizes an integration week with parties, visits of the city, games to know each other etc. It helped me a lot to find my friends here.
Pubs/bars/Nightclubs don't miss at CPH.
Besides, this city is really perfect to study. There is a beautiful library near the sea or you have the library of the uni which is massive and where you_ find all of the books you need to study.
Finally, the most of the studen residences are really close to the center where you can cycle to the uni.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Copenhagen to other students?

Definitely, I would recommend the KU to other students due to the reasons given above but also because the KU is generally really good, and has a good level. The professors are in general nice and the relationship between the students and the professors is really relax so you feel confortable in class.

What is the food like?

Unfortunetly, Denmark is not famous for a extraordinary cuisine. What you eat is mostly expensive and from aboard. Netherless, you can find some good fish here.

No I found my accomodation by the housing foundation.

How much does it cost to live in Copenhagen?

The life in CPH is really expensive.
I paid my student room around 700€.
An expresso is for example around 3€
The food is also really expensive.
In general, everything is expensive.
But to go out, it is not as expensive as paris for example.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

All of the courses are in english.
It is quite easy to get the content of the class. And you always find some friends to communicate and to improve your english.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Copenhagen from your city?

By plane definitely

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Copenhagen?

touristic places:
- tyrolia bar
- Australian bar

for local:
- culture box

- sigursgade 35

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Copenhagen?
