Why did you choose to go to Copenhagen, Denmark?

Because my course back in the UK had an exchange with a institution in CHP.
I study at DMJX

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Sep - Jan
per/month
Accommodation: 4000 Krone
Food: 50 k a day but only because we have a cheap buffet in school an in the evening ill usually eat pasta for breackfast a banana
Anything else around 800+

What is the student lifestyle like in Copenhagen?

It really depends where you are based in the city and the friendship group you make

My experience,
Danish have a very hard work ethic so be prepared to adopt their attitude
They no how to work hard and play hard though
Very sociable, theres always a lot going on
Very good private parties hosted by the student from your school

What is the food like?

The buffet couldn't be better
It isn't that different from home however
Their is not much to offer and the supermarkets are small

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Copenhagen?

No, its good to join Facebook pages or know a friend that visited the previous year to put you in contact with old friends

Or better yet have a buddy from the school to help you out

How much does it cost to live in Copenhagen?

I average ruffly 800 to 1000 pound a month

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available in the University?

No its really hard unless you work at it everyday and have a good memory

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Copenhagen from your city?

BIKE!

When it get cold in Dec don't worry they have a good bus system

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Copenhagen?

Nice chilled bar Harbo
Then meatpacking on a night out

A lot of free drinks at some Venues all night, you just need to know where to look, join facebook groups

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

I don't do touristy shit

Is there any other advice that you could give to future students who are going to Copenhagen?

Make friends with as many danes as you can on arrival, that way you'l be invited to a lot of event and really experience the danish lifestyle

Danes might seem a bit serious an no fun at first but once a few sentences have passed and you both crack a smile, their your best of friends
