Castellón de la Plana is where I live but not as an Erasmus student. It's a nice city to live in if you want to take advantage of its really good climate.

Castellón is a cheap city and you can, honestly, live with little money.

Was it difficult to find accommodation in Castellón de la Plana? Can you give any piece of advice?

It's easy to find accommodation but it's also easy to find very old and neglected flats, especially in the center.

What about national food? What are your favourite dishes?

Obviously, paella is a must!

What places do you recommend to visit in Castellón de la Plana?

In Castellón there aren't many things to see as a tourist. It's a city which was restructured a few years ago and for that reason it shows a mixture of pseudo-modern styles which, sincerely, I don't like at all. It isn't the traditional Spanish city with a defined architecture and style but a pseudo-modernized city.

Castellón is a cosy city and with good climate, reason why it's easy to enjoy a day with your friends in the beach, for instance.
