What is it like to live in Castellón De la Plana? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I have been living here for 2 years as I am studying here and I love it. It's a small city which everything is close to you.

It is true that Castellón hasn't a lot to do as a tourist but its little details makes you love it.

What is the student lifestyle like in Castellón De la Plana?

Although it is a small city, most of their habitants are students. Most of them go back to their hometowns during the weekend, however the atmosphera during the week is great. People go to Sentits (which is a bar inside the campus), la Muralla or Santa Clara to have a drink.

How much does it cost to live in Castellón De la Plana?

You can have a bedroom for your own for 100-200€/month. It depends weather you want to live near the university or in the city center.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There are so many good places to eat in Castellón with a reasonable price. It always depends on your tastes.

What places would you recommend visiting in Castellón De la Plana?

I highly recommend going to El Grao to enjoy the sun but also to have a picnic in the evening. La calle mayor is where you can find all the shops.

And you definitely can't miss going hiking or just for a walk to El desert de les palmes.

Is the nightlife good in Castellón De la Plana? Where is good to go?

You can go out from Wednesday (which is my favourite day to go out as it's Erasmus night in a local pub called Wallaby's) to Friday. It is quite cheap to go out on a party night.
