What is the student lifestyle like in Cairo?

Fun and enjoyment beside studying.

How much does it cost to live in Cairo?

Max 500 euros/Min 300 euros.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Cairo? Is there any advice you can give?

Generally some people in Egypt find foreigners as strangers coming from mars.

But all the egyptians are very welcoming and at the end the foreigners get used to their way and every thing will be okay.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

All multinational companies such as (Mac, KFC, Hardees, Cookdoor.... etc).

But you need to try the traditional dishes like kofta and green vegetables. Some Egyptians cook it with so much butter (so much fat) and some others prefer to not use it.

And do not forget the shawerma.

What places would you recommend visiting in Cairo?

City stars mall and cinema.

Egyptian museums.

Cairo tower.

Downtown for sure.

Is it good to eat out in Cairo? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

OASIS on the way to the airport.

Is the nightlife good in Cairo? Where is good to go?

You can find a lot but in specific places like zamalek, mohndesin, el-haram st. I can tell you that Egypt never sleeps, it is open 24 hours unlike Europe and America.

What advice would you give future students heading to Cairo?

You will find it hard to live for about first 2-3 months but after that you will like this country a lot. I can help you if you need anything here.
