Cairo the crowded, lovely capital of Egypt
As the capital of Egypt, Cairo is a very crowded place to live and study but at the same time a perfect place to go to many places for entertainment and spare time, as if you are a fan of pharaons and old cultures you are few kilometer from pyramids and the sphinx, Egyptian old musem and lots of museums and old mosques from early Islamic periods.
As to me honest, prices in Cairo is little bit high that other parts in Egypt but the good news is it is very cheep compare to other European countries as the Egyptian pound (Gonih) is nearly equal to 0. 2 euro so you can buy for example coke for only 0. 25 euro.
To study in Cairo you can have many options from governmental to private universities including American university in Cairo which is the oldest private one in Egypt and of course Cairo University, the oldest and biggest university in Egypt.
Language is not a big problem as English is the first foreign language, in primary schools is obligatory so and due to touristy places everywhere you can find someone who speaks English every time in the street.
People in Cairo are kind and welcoming to guests, sure some try to make troubles and gain extra money from tourists like everywhere, so it is better to have a friend there.
