Cairo is a lively city. People here don't sleep at all. You can entertain yourself anytime in Cairo. it is full of life and joy. People here like to live, celebrate and enjoy their time. I recommend to visit it in Spring or Autumn.

What is the student lifestyle like in Cairo?

It is normal. The student can rent easily here, and the food is cheap.

How much does it cost to live in Cairo?

As I mentioned, the food is cheap, but the rent is expensive, and it depends on its location. Safe, beautiful places are more expensive. to rent a room, it costs for foreign $150 maximum. The apartments are about $350 depending on the location.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Cairo? Is there any advice you can give?

It is not difficult. You can try Airbnb or olx.com.eg to rent anything. It is safer to have a friend that can lead you to good offers.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

You can find all kind of food here in Egypt. But I prefer Syrian and Lebanese restaurants here.

What places would you recommend visiting in Cairo?

The places depend on the seasons. Summer in Cairo is rough, and it is harmful to spend time out at noon. So, it is perfect to go out in the evening. If you want to visit pyramids, try to visit Cairo in winter or spring.

Is it good to eat out in Cairo? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

As I mentioned, you can find all kind of foods here. But try to select clean known brands. Eating from the food carts in the streets is not clean.

Is the nightlife good in Cairo? Where is good to go?

The night here is lively and you can find casinos and bars easily.

What advice would you give future students heading to Cairo?

Cairo is a beautiful city, and the perfect time to visit it is all seasons except summer.
