What is it like to live in Cairo? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Cairo is a fantastic city with calm weather, king people, prices are too cheap so you can enjoy your time with low money.
Of course I recommend it.
I like Madenity city.

What is the student lifestyle like in Cairo?

Daily they going to our Universities expect weekends.
In there free time they enjoying our life like go party, chilling out in a cafe, playing sports, Cinema, working if they got an opportunity for part time job and watch football matches.

How much does it cost to live in Cairo?

If you are alone and live in a cheap place it will cost you about 150-200 USD per month including your pocket money. Sharing house will cost you about 100-150 USD per month.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Cairo? Is there any advice you can give?

No it's so easy to find a accommodation in cairo at any level you want, but the only bad things here you should to know someone here due to high commissions of agents here can take more money from you.
So I advice anyone who are going to study in cairo should be attention for this point.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food here also is too cheap, we have here in cairo all kind of foods that in the world. The orientation food in Egypt is fool, taamya and koshary. We have MacDonald, KFC, Pizza hut, Papa John's, Hardee's, Domino's Pizza, burger king and lots of brands.
We have a nice restaurants in front of nile with different dishes.
My favorite dish is Sea food

What places would you recommend visiting in Cairo?

Pyramids, Abu El hol, Cairo tower, ZAMALEK sporting Club (ZSC), new cairo, 6 of October compound, Mohandsen, Egyptian Musuem, Salah Eldeen elayouby Castle and taking a Cruze in the Nile.

Is it good to eat out in Cairo? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Actually Cairo is a big city so I guess anyone is coming here will not need to go outside for eat.
I don't know places or restaurant out of Cairo but in every state here in Egypt having there own fantastic restaurants and fast food.

Is the nightlife good in Cairo? Where is good to go?

Yea they are alot of night clubs in cairo. All are good in Cairo city

What advice would you give future students heading to Cairo?

It depends on his life style and his career. I can't give an advice because of every person having his idea.
