Cairo is a very large city that combines history with modernization.
it's very cheap, so populated and very hot in summer.
So I recommend tourists to come in winter because the weather is very beautiful at this time.

Students in Cairo beside studying Enjoy History, old architecture, culture and many attractive landscapes.

How much does it cost to live in Cairo?

For me 100 euro per month is so good, Because Cairo is cheap if we compare it to any other city in Europe for example.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Cairo? Is there any advice you can give?

No , it's easy to find accommodation in cairo.
I advice foreign students to rent a flat rather than staying at the dormitory because living in dormitories is so boring in Cairo actually.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is Very tasty and delicious of course.
My favorite dishes are :
- Mahshy
- Bashamel
- Koshary

What places would you recommend visiting in Cairo?

- Cairo tower
- The Egyptian museum
- The Mosque of Mohamed Ali in the area of the Citadel
- Nile Cruise in the Nile River
And of course
- The Pyramids

Is the nightlife good in Cairo? Where is good to go?

The most popular place in Cairo for night life is a street called :
Al Haram Street
But you can't expect a lot because after all you're in a Muslim country .

What advice would you give future students heading to Cairo?

To be careful when they deal with any seller or any driver because once they know you're a foreigner they think about how to get as much money as they could from you !!
For the girls I advice them to not get out at night alone and don't wear eye-catching clothes because unfortunately they might exposed to Sexual harassment !
