What is it like to live in Cairo? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Its like living with the most kind people u might ever see in your life ,feeling home everyone is helping everyone is trying to give advices some people considers this little bit breaking privacy but its just kindness and very good hospitality .
And yes of course i reccomend it .
The city at night late night looks very calm and beautiful after the end of the traffic jam cause egypt is experiencing grea problem in traffic jam and at day everything is alive every one is working having fun studying doing everything.

What is the student lifestyle like in Cairo?

Going to university at day and then resting a little bit after great long day in college then going out after studying cause here is not like europe usualy u can go out everyday and have fun not only in week ends it depends on ur own table u can organize everything and also week ends here is friday and thursday not like europe at all .

How much does it cost to live in Cairo?

Not very expensive cause it depends on the kind of food u want to eat like u can have breakfast for 10 pounds and u will be very full and at the same time u might have another break fast in a little fancy place for more than 25 pounds so it always depends on the place that u will pick to eat and about accomidation also it depends like in new cities and private cities some are very expensive and some are so cheap compared to the other private cities but maximumly in a very good apartement which might be capable of holding 3 people it will. Cost 5000 pounds per month .

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Cairo? Is there any advice you can give?

Yes new cities and private cities are much better more calm and more safe but transportation to these places are little bit hard compared to downtown in cairo or any other places inside cairo cause there transportation will be very easy and cheap but private cities transportation will be little bit hard .

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

U can find alot of variety in food all the cusines are there in egypt even u will find asian indian everything u need .

What places would you recommend visiting in Cairo?

Pyramids , zamalek , old cairo , new private cities .

Is it good to eat out in Cairo? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes of course great malls are always containing all the kinds of cusines u can ever imagine

Is the nightlife good in Cairo? Where is good to go?

I dont recommend that in cairo but in tourism places outside cairo like redsea and sinai is much better to go there

What advice would you give future students heading to Cairo?

To come quickly and they will always find a place for them in cairo the thing i just dont like is that our certificates are not worldwide like bachelor or masters except at the AUC american university in cairo think only that is worldwide the rest works in egypt only
