Cairo is so much crowd but if you live in a good place and near to the university you will enjoy living in cairo

What is the student lifestyle like in Cairo?

Students go to university and do the college activities at morning and they go out to the normal cafes with friends at night. At weekends they can go to a premium cafe in special place. and they can do some sports activities in between the week days

How much does it cost to live in Cairo?

you can live in cairo with different averages. The rent will be the highest cut of your budget. With average 150 euros. And the daily living is averaged. You can live with 150 euros monthly. but 300 euros will be good living, with 500 euros you will do whatever you want in all places .

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Cairo? Is there any advice you can give?

it is not that difficult, yes it is not organized with a good system but there are alot of places to rent with normal prices in comparison to europe prices. And my advice is to let an arab friend find you one because the language will help so much in find a good place with not expensive price.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

there is national food and the universal food. And there are places to eat everywhere. I think cairo is a nice place to eat lovers. the city is full of cafes and restaurants and fast food shops.

What places would you recommend visiting in Cairo?

The great pyramids, cairo tower, nile city, new cairo, fairmont heliopolis, khan elkhalely, zamalek, korba.

Is it good to eat out in Cairo? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes cairo has so many good places to eat in. you can choose between the national food like koshary and homemade food, and the universal food like italian and chinese food and the american fast food. Every area in cairo has some spots to eat in. In heliopolis there is tevoli, in new cairo there is the downtown.

Is the nightlife good in Cairo? Where is good to go?

Yes it is great. You can choose between the modern outings like pubs and cafes in nile city or in new cairo, or choose to visit the historical places like khan el khalely and cairo downtown.

What advice would you give future students heading to Cairo?

choose to live near to the university because the transportation is not good in cairo
