Why did you choose to go to Cádiz, Spain?

I chose Cádiz because I always wanted to learn Spanish. Also, I only had few destinations so Spain was the best option for me.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

From September to July my government pays 4000 euros but they'll give me the last 20% when I get back to Turkey if I pass my subjects.

What is the student lifestyle like in Cádiz?

Very simple, very funny. Not much places for partying, but it is always fun when you find good friends! Anyway, I am not much a party person so I am very happy in here.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Cádiz to other students?

Yes, I would if you like little cities with friendly people.

What is the food like?

I assure you that you will have no troubles with food. You can find everything.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Cádiz?

Yes, I had no option like dormitories, so we are 8 people in the house, but everybody have their own rooms. We are a big family.

How much does it cost to live in Cádiz?

It depends on your budget. You can find a place from 150 euros to 400 euros. Sometimes bills are included but not others.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Well, Spanish is very different than Turkish and English so learn it in Andalusia is even harder, but I learned very fast. Courses are available but you have to pay.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Cadiz from your city?

Bla bla car.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Cadiz?

La Tapería de Columela, Peperonchile.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

This is Andalusia, there are history everywhere!
