I am a full student at Avans University of Applied Sciences.

What is the student lifestyle like in Breda?

You really feel the international environment. The teachers are open to help you everytime, and you'll receive a buddy that will show you the town, and how to fulfill all the formalities. You will work in a small group, with other international students or most of the times predominant Dutch students, on different projects.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Breda to other students?

Yes

What is the food like?

Can be quite expensive but if you choose supermarkets such as Lidl or Aldi is reasonable. Also Albert Heijn has always discounts on different products.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Breda?

Yes, is quite hard to find accomodation, so you should start looking quite early

How much does it cost to live in Breda?

600-700 Euros/month

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

No, the University does not offer any Dutch language courses.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Breda from your city?

There are a lot of night-clubs in the centre of the city
