Ring of fire drinking game !

Drinking games are widely famous all around the world from young people to get easily drunk while having fun. There are thousands of different kinds of drinking games, some more easy and some more ‘hardcore’.

In this article, I will focus on my personally favourite drinking game which is called ‘Ring of fire’. I will present you the easy rules of this game and I am pretty sure you will like it and try this at home with your friends.

So, let’s get started!

You will need to have a deck of cards (except the jokers), plastic glasses for all the players and one extra for the middle. Don’t forget also to buy some alcohol of your choice (it can be the same for everyone or different). The most suitable number of players is at least eight people, because the more, the better!

Firstly, you need to sit all together around a table, with a plastic glass in front of every player. Someone has to take the deck of cards and spread them in the middle of the table in a circular shape. In the middle of the circle you should put the extra empty plastic glass.

Everyone puts some alcohol of his choice in his glass and we are ready to start with the rules. Every card has a different meaning in this game. Only one of the players is necessary to be aware of the rules, because he can repeat them during the whole game.

The meaning of the cards:

• Ace = Waterfall

In this card, the person who picks this card has to start drinking and the others have to follow in the row that they are sitting until the last player. When the first player stops drinking, then all the other have to stop again according to the row that they are sitting.

(Instead of this, there is also another meaning for this card if you want something different, that you just all drink together)

• Two= is for choose.

The person who picks the card has to choose one player of his choice to drink a shot.

• Three = is for me.

The person who draws this card from the deck has to drink one shot.

• Four = is for girls.

All the girls of the game have to drink a shot.

• Five= is the thumbmaster.

By picking this card, the person who did it has the power of the thumbmaster until the next 5 is being drawn. This means that he /she has to put his /her thumb on the table whenever he/she wants without informing the other players that he/she did it. The other players have to be observative and when they see it, they should also place their thumbs on the table, and the last one who does it has to drink.

• Six =is for guys

All the guys who participate in the game have to drink one shot.

• Seven = is for heaven.

By picking this card, the person who does it has to be very fast and point with his finger the sky. The last one who does it has to drink one shot.

• Eight = is for mate.

Whoever picks this card has the opportunity to choose one person that has to drink with him everytime he has to drink. For example, if a guy picks this card and chooses a girl, she will also have to drink everytime someone picks the card number six, which is for guys to drink.

• Nine = is for rhyme.

Whoever picks this card, has to say one word (not very strange) and the others in the row that they are sitting, have to make a rhyme with this word. The one whose word doesn't rime or that takes too long or repeates a word that has been used before, has to drink.

• Ten = is the list.

Ten is for the list!

This card is like the game 'Top 10'. The one who picks the card has to say a list from a category (for example brands of cars ) and the others have to say something connected to the list. Like with the card no9, the one who takes too long or says the same with someone else or says something irrelevant has to drink one shot.

• Jack =The rules.

Jack- The most interesting card of the game!

This is the most interesting card. Whoever picks this card can make a rule about the game. The rule can vary from forbidden words, moves that everyone have to do when they are drinking or whatever he /she can imagine. During the game, the people who forget and don't follow the rules have to drink. Also the funniest part is when all the four Jacks have been used and no one remembers the rules and everyone tries to pay attention if the others make mistake so to tell them to drink!

• Queen =The ghost.

The person who picks this card is the ghost until the other queen is being chosen. The other players aren't allowed to talk to him/her and don't even answer to questions. If someone does during the game, he/she has to drink.

• King =The King.

Last but not least, the one who picks a King, has to pour his drink inside the cup which is in the middle. However, the person who gets the fourth (last) King has to pour his drink in the already almost full cup, and drink all the cup at once. Usually not all the players drink the same type of drink, so the result can be disgusting!

This game is the best way to spend a funny night during your summer holidays, while you are at the beach or at the camping. Me and my friends play it a lot of times during the summer and we can never get bored of it !
